Following the success of Putting the Band Back Together, Unfolding Theatre is pleased to return to Sunderland to co-create new music theatre production A Street Like This. The production will be co-created by local residents, award-winning writer Alison Carr, songwriter Ross Millard (The Futureheads) and Unfolding Theatre.

A Street Like This is inspired by unexpected friendships and will explore the value of forging connections with people from different political persuasions, backgrounds and ages.

Attendees will work alongside the Unfolding Theatre creative team to co-write songs, input into scriptwriting and learn music, songs and drama together. There is also the opportunity to perform alongside the professional cast in the production.

Workshops run 6pm-8pm at Pop Recs, 172-175 High Street West, Sunderland, SR1 1UP.
